PARACHUTE is a pre-emergence, selective herbicide containing Pretilachlor 50% EC. It is specially formulated to control a broad spectrum of grasses, broadleaf weeds, and sedges in paddy fields. Being selective in nature, it is safe for the rice crop and provides long-lasting control when applied at the right time.

It works by inhibiting cell division and disrupting protein synthesis, preventing weed seed germination and early seedling development.

Recommended Crop:

Target Weeds Controlled:

Dosage & Application:

• Recommended Dose: 800–1000 ml per acre

• Dilution: Mix in 200–250 liters of water

• Timing:

  • Apply within 0–5 days after transplanting (DAT)

• Method:

  • Broadcast uniformly or use sprayer with flat-fan nozzle

  • Keep field waterlogged for a few days post-application

 

Precautions:

• Do not disturb the soil after spraying

• Ensure standing water in the field at the time of application

• Use protective clothing and gloves

• Store in a cool, dry place, away from sunlight and children
