QUANTUM is a selective, pre-emergence herbicide that provides broad-spectrum weed control by inhibiting cell division and cell elongation in weed seedlings. It contains Pendimethalin 38.7% CS, a long-residual herbicide that forms a protective layer on the soil surface to prevent weed germination.

The CS (capsule suspension) formulation ensures controlled release, enhanced persistence, and reduced volatility, making it ideal for Indian climatic conditions — even at high temperatures.

Target Weeds Controlled:

• Annual grasses (Echinochloa, Dactyloctenium, etc.)

• Broadleaf weeds (Amaranthus, Chenopodium, Trianthema, etc.)

 

Dosage & Application:

• Recommended Dose:

  • Cotton: 700 ml/acre

  • Chilli: 700 ml/acre

  • Soybean: 700 ml/acre

• Dilution: Mix in 200–240 liters of water per acre

• Application Method:

  • Apply immediately after sowing but before crop emergence

  • Use flat-fan or flood-jet nozzle for even coverage

  • Ensure moist soil at time of application for better efficacy

 

Precautions:

• Do not apply on already germinated weeds

• Avoid overlapping sprays

• Do not mix with other herbicides unless compatibility is confirmed

• Use gloves, mask, and protective gear while spraying

• Store in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and children
