COLISTO is a broad-spectrum, post-emergence herbicide recommended for use along with a surfactant for effective control of both broadleaf and grassy weeds in maize (corn). It contains Tembotrione 34.4% SC which belongs to the triketone chemical group.

Tembotrione inhibits 4-HPPD enzyme responsible for carotenoid biosynthesis in weeds. This causes bleaching of green parts, leading to chlorosis, drying, and complete weed control.

Dosage & Application:

• Recommended Dose: 115 ml per acre

• Dilution: Mix in 150–200 liters of water per acre

• Application Time: Post-emergence at 3–4 leaf stage of maize

• Application Method: Foliar spray using flat-fan nozzle

• Always use recommended surfactant for better coverage and efficiency

 

Precautions:

• Do not spray during rain or strong wind

• Do not mix with alkaline substances

• Avoid overlapping sprays

• Use safety gloves, mask, and protective clothing during application

• Store in a cool, dry, and shaded area away from food and children
