ALERT

ALERT is a systemic post-emergence herbicide containing Metsulfuron Methyl 20% WP, highly effective against a wide spectrum of broadleaf weeds in field crops. It is absorbed through foliage and roots and translocated throughout the plant, where it inhibits cell division by blocking ALS (Acetolactate Synthase) enzyme activity—leading to weed death within days of application.

Dosage & Application:

• Pack: Combo – 8 gm Metsulfuron + 200 ml Surfactant

• Water Volume: 160 – 200 liters per acre

• Application Method: Foliar spray using flat-fan nozzle

• Spray Timing: 25–30 days after sowing (2–4 leaf weed stage)

 

Precautions:

• Avoid spraying on windy days to prevent drift

• Do not mix with strongly acidic or alkaline substances

• Use only the recommended dose

• Store in a cool, dry place away from sunlight and children

• Wear gloves, goggles, and mask during application
