TARZON

TARZON is a selective, broad-spectrum herbicide containing 50% Atrazine in wettable powder form. It is specially formulated to control a wide variety of broadleaf and grassy weeds in maize, bajra, sugarcane, and potato crops.

TARZON works primarily as a pre-emergence herbicide but can also be used in early post-emergence applications. It is absorbed through roots and foliage and translocated to the site of action, where it inhibits photosynthesis, effectively stopping weed growth.

Dosage & Application:

• Dose: 500 grams per acre

• Dilution: Mix with 200–300 liters of clean water

• Application Time: Preferably within 2–3 days after sowing (pre-emergence) or before 4-leaf stage of weeds

• Method: Apply uniformly using a knapsack or tractor-mounted sprayer

 

Precautions:

• Avoid spraying on windy days to prevent drift

• Wear gloves, mask, and protective clothing during application

• Do not use near water bodies or sensitive crops

• Store in a dry, cool place away from food and animal feed
