CRUSH

Clodinafop 9B + Metribuzin 2O% WP

CRUSH is a broad-spectrum post-emergence herbicide combining the power of Clodinafop and Metribuzin in a single formulation. It is specially developed for wheat and other cereal crops to control both grassy and broadleaf weeds in one go.

  • Clodinafop effectively controls narrow-leaved grassy weeds.

  • Metribuzin targets broadleaf weeds and provides residual action for longer weed suppression.

This dual-mode formula offers farmers convenience, cost-effectiveness, and maximum weed control during the critical growth stages of the crop.

Target Crop:

  • Wheat

Target Weeds:

 Grassy Weeds:

  • Phalaris minor (Canary Grass)

  • Avena spp. (Wild Oat)

 Broadleaf Weeds:

  • Chenopodium album (Bathua)

  • Melilotus spp. (Senji)

  • Cirsium arvense (Kateli)

Recommended Dosage:

  • 160–200 grams per acre

  • Mix in 150–200 liters of water for uniform application

  • Apply 30–35 days after sowing when weeds are in the 2–4 leaf stage

Mode of Action:

  • Clodinafop: Inhibits ACCase enzyme, disrupting fatty acid synthesis in grassy weeds.

  • Metribuzin: Inhibits photosynthesis, leading to rapid leaf chlorosis and plant death in broadleaf weeds.

 Precautions:

  • Do not mix with strong alkaline substances.

  • Use protective gear during handling and spraying.

  • Avoid application during high wind or rain.

  • Ensure no spray drift reaches non-target crops.
